Chilli Pepper Taralli DCE





A typical Apulian taralli, enriched with chilli, crumbly and crunchy with an elongated shape. Traditionally prepared by hand, the dough is first left to leaven before being divided into smaller pieces then boiled, dried and baked at 180°. This nutritious, healthy and tasty regional product is a dietary staple in Apulia. As important as bread, it exemplifies the simplicity and genuineness of Mediterranean food. Perfect as an appetizer or with aperitifs, they are a perfect accompaniment to every kind of cold cut and cheese. Excellent as a delicious snack to eat at any time of the day.
