The origins of the dairy farm at Palagiaccio date back more than a thousand years when the noble family of Ubaldini were in control of a large area of the Appenines. In order to keep control of the rich soils of the Mugello valley, they constructed a fortified garrison.
Today, “Il Palagiaccio”, is one of the few remaining Ulbadini properites to have kept the fortified features of their farm intact. They are very proud of their history and take their responsibilities very seriously. In their exceptional range of products, Il Palagiaccio keep alive the culture and tradition of their Florentine and Tuscan heritage.
