In the 1970s, the best cruise ship bartenders were travelling the world to gain experience. Many of them settled in cities like Genoa, Venice and Milan, bringing with them their 'know-how' to the community.
"I remember when my father used to bring me to the best bars in town for the aperitif. He was very selective as he only wanted to be served by the best bartenders" says Roberto. "His choice was Negroni, mine was Crodino. But not for long as I soon changed my mind and now, I am drinking Negroni to 'open the stomach' before dinner."
