For over 100 years, the Culcasi family have been known as the 'salt family'. Inextricably linked to the Trapani salt pans, Salina Culcasi produces and markets Trapani sea salt in a way that continues to respect the centuries-old traditions of the area's ancient salt pans, cultivating and harvesting this precious fruit of the sea inside the Trapani Salt Pans Reserve, WWF area and place of the FAI heart.


The salt is formed by the natural evaporation of sea water. During the transformation process, it is not bleached or artificially refined and therefore does not undergo any chemical treatment.
